NBC's ONE NIGHT ONLY: Best of Broadway, hosted by Tina Fey

Last December, I was fortunate to join my fellow Harry Potter nd the Cursed Child castmates Nadia Brown and James Romney, as NBC celebrated a still-closed, yet kicking Broadway community with musical performances, speeches, appearances and excerpts from popular Broadway shows and performers.

We were honored to have been the sole play representation of the night, speaking to the magic of our beautiful show, how much we miss it, and how we can’t wait for its return. I got to speak briefly about how affected we who were about to make our Broadway debuts have been in this time, the surreal nature of coming back to the theatre district to celebrate something that technically isn’t alive right now, and how grateful I am to be a part of this community, however adjacently, without having ever fully done the job.

Theatre will return, and in the meantime, moments like this help soften the remaining waiting period.
